On The Urban Debate with Tanvi Shukla, we discuss the farmers' protest which has been ongoing for almost a year against the three farm laws, tens of thousands of farmers have camped out on major highways around the capital, New Delhi, to oppose the laws in the longest-running growers' protest against the central government. To observe the one year of the farmer's protest, the farmers called out for 'Bharat bandh.' Barring a few scenes of the traffic chaos on the streets of Delhi, this protest was mostly peaceful. Since January, no face to face meeting took place between the farmers and the government. Now, the deadlock has not been resolved.
